Description

With several of AKA’s top instructors in both striking and ground fighting leading the way, AKA/Camarillo Jiu-Jitsu Children’s Mixed Martial Arts is the premier program of its kind. Under the guidance of former two-time world champion Javier Mendez, professional boxer and champion kickboxer Gary Owens and jiu-jitsu and judo black belt David Camarillo, the kids of AKA receive world class instruction rarely found in any self-defense program, anywhere. In addition, champion MMA fighter Jon Fitch brings the years of wrestling experience that made him captain of Purdue University’s wrestling team to the AKA kids program. Rounding out the group of instructors are several of Camarillo’s top students, ranked in both jiu-jitsu and judo, as well as several other kickboxing standouts from the AKA Fight Team.

In addition to the world class instruction, children at AKA are provided with a fun, energetic environment to train in, one that stresses the values of discipline, hard work, respect, and enables them to develop skills for self-defense and becoming the future champions at AKA. This system is composed of boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu and judo, and includes solid conditioning every step of the way.
